The richest golf tournament in the Philippines returns in November at The Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club.
Entering its fourth edition as the richest golf tournament on the Philippines, the prestigious Resorts World Manila Masters will once again celebrate the talent of golf masters at Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club from November 10 to 13, 2016.
With a whooping prize pot of US$1 million, players and masters from all over the world will test their luck and skill to follow the footsteps of past tournament champions; Last year, Thai rookie Natipong Srithong bagged the most coveted award following the veteran Mardan Mamat of Singapore who won in 2014 and China's Liang Wen-chong who reigned in 2013.
"We are delighted to maintain our role as title sponsor of the most lucrative golf tournament in the Philippines. The Resorts World Manila Masters has enjoyed great success since its inception in 2013 and we look forward to witnessing more top-notch golfing action from Asia's best players in November," said Stephen Reilly, Chief Operating Officer of Resorts World Manila.
Bob Sobrepeña, Chairman, Manila Southwoods, said: "We are privileged and honoured to be the host venue for the Resorts World Manila Masters for the fourth consecutive year. We are confident our Masters course will be in prime condition for the highly anticipated tournament and we look forward to seeing many great players from the Asian Tour competing here."
The highly anticipated event is expected to continue to establish itself as a highly popular event amongst players, fans, and television viewers.
